I found a 1988 Lincoln cent with the reverse of 1989 transitional error.wondering how much it's worth?

I don't know of any price guides for this variety. It's not a coin that's likely to appear in a major auction company's archives, but you may be able to find some sales data on eBay.

First of all it is not an error, it is a variety.  (CONECA RDV-006 or Wexlers LMRD-006).

As there were approximately 7 million minted in Philadelphia alone, they are not that rare but I have seen some on eBay for $25.00 -$50.00 depending on grade.
