While looking and pricing my coins for the dozenth time this week, I come across my 2 bicentennial P Ike dollars. Then, I search them up in my books and- HOLY 1933 ST GAUDENS 20$ COIN IVE STRUCK GOLD.

The coins are in excellent  condition, one an type 1 MS67, one I'm assuming is an type 2 MS65-66.

Unfortunately not being a recognized third party grader these will not be what you think they are. It is in my

experience that NNC grades are 3 sometimes 4 grades too high

Sorry

Yes, stay away from NNC coins unless you really know what you're doing. I bought a "MS65" Canadian five cent in an NNC slab many years ago and the thing isn't even uncirculated, AU50 at best. I keep it as my "lesson learned". Beware. I wouldn't even trust the T1 designation to be accurate.

Cannot tell by your pictures as they appear worn more than low relief, Close up picture of "STATES" would be helpful

Common BU Ikes are $3 now and the '76 type I is $4.

It looks like it's a very nice one but has mint set toning on the reverse which might be a major problem.  All Ikes in mint set packaging and with damage from that packaging should be soaked in 91% alcohol or acetone ASAP.

This "toning" is destroying the few remaining Ikes in pristine condition.

Hmm. Also, they are both P ikes.

This is a Type one reverse, which is a little better if the grade is gem or better. The extra fat lettering is the giveaway. I can't grade it from those pictures, but I can see that it is probably not a 67.
