Looks like a rather poor counterfeit of a late imperial Feng-tien province dollar. First run a magnet near it. If the magnet doesn't jump to it, weigh it. Should weigh about 26.4g. If it varies much from that (either more, or over 5% less than that), stay very suspicious.

I did the magnet test and the magnet didn’t stick, took it in and it is silver, but didn’t weigh it... I will do that tomorrow.  I was just trying figure out the year etc.  I understand there is a lot of counterfeits out there.  Thank you

Date looks to be the late 1890s, perhaps early 1900s.
