I’m still learning how to identify a double die. 

Does this 1935 Buffalo nickel have any double die?

Not that I can discern. Might be a little bit of mechanical doubling, which doesn't help the coin.

Of course, we're only shown one side, so we have no idea what's on the other.

Sorry. I thought the doubling was only on the words FIVE CENTS.

And if there is, it might be only on one side. But by showing only one side, one rules out any possibility that people might notice something on the other side that escaped your attention.

Looks like some die erosion, not a double die at all.
