I found a 1982 dime that looks like a strike error. Looks like the metal is bulbis in a couple places on the forehead and chin. What do I do next to check it out? i don't know anything about this. You are the first I contacted.

Your dime has most likely been exposed to extreme heat. This will cause gases trapped between the pure copper and copper-nickel layers of the planchet to expand and form the lumps seen.
