Why or how would they be in the exact same position on obverse and reverse if it was contact with another coin?  Not trying to sound rude, but 2 other coins hit this coin in the exact position on both sides?

The marks are clearly cutting INTO the coin. The only way to have that occur during striking would be to have a RAISED defect on the die.  In order to have a raised defect on the die the hub would have to have the marks cut into it.  If the hub had marks cut into it them EVERY die made from it would have those marks and every coin made from those dies would have the marks.  That would mean at least tens of millions of coins just like yours.  So even if it was a variety, it would have no value.

I've taken another look at the other images (not the marks) and the obverse looks like a super doubled die especially in the image of it you put in the W mintmark thread.  Not sure about the reverse but the R and C of AMERICA look intriguing.
