Hinkle Posted July 17, 2019 Share Posted July 17, 2019 I know this might sound crazy, but I'm keeping a look out for the 1989 with 88 reverse. If they say they ran out of 88s and used 89s that's odd. Greenstang Posted July 17, 2019 Share Posted July 17, 2019 (edited) Yes, that is a 1989, you can tell by the serif on the bottom of the G so that is a normal coin. What you need to be looking for is a 1988D with a 1989 Reverse, that is the rare one. There are no 1989 with a 1988 Reverse.
