[Hugh Stiel Rare Coins]

Attached please find a top pop Rare Coin. What issues do you see that might limit interest in buying. Some say it’s the holder. I don’t believe that and curious what you think leave top buyers uninterested.

Dark toning. Or at least in that picture.

Certainly nothing wrong with the holder.

The only thing I can see that might limit a sale is the dark toning. Toning doesn't affect the grade but iit does affect the eye appeal

No, I'm not suggesting anything. Not even sure if natural toning can be removed, you would have to check with NGC.

It is your call either way.

Looks like a nice MS coin, not sure why they called it Specimen.  Must be more to it than the images are showing.

Bowers says, "This issue varies, but some are highly prooflike and have been certified as Proofs. At the very least they are special strikings." (sic) He gives a footnote which reads, "Andy Lustig, communication, May 27, 2015".

I don't know if that means that Andy is calling them special strikings, and if so, what evidence he has.

Nice coin, still not sure why it is a SP from the images, but it does appear that NGC has called the same coin both SP 65 and SP 66.
