Just Bob
There are more things to look at than just whether or not the tops or bottoms of the numerals in the date are in line. In fact, that (to me) is a difficult diagnostic to try to distinguish. If you compare these pictures, you will see that the shape of the "2" and its distance from the rim is one easy way to tell the difference. Also, the other letters on the obverse are markedly different, especially the "B", "E", and "R" in "LIBERTY," and both letters of the word "WE." Pictures from the Cent Project website.
