Creo que es demasiado bonito y perfecto para ser autentico. Los autenticos cerca de nunca estan si bien golpeado a la monedaría. Es lástima.

El peso es problema porque los monedos de 8R pesan normalmente 27g. 38.5 es mucho, mucho demasiado. Pero si autentico, sería un 8R de algun pais suramericano o centroamericano...pero hay problema, la marca de monederia no es como los que conozco. A ser sincero no sé, y no lo encontraba en el libro. Lo siento que yo no estaba de mas ayuda. Si Ud. aprende esa marca de monederia, me alegraria aprender. Lo siento también que mi español es muy imperfecto.

El borde tiene marcas hoy voy a anexar más fotos , gracias por su ayuda

Poor quality modern counterfeit of an 8 reals. Not sure what is it supposed to be. It was clearly struck in a close necklace (flat smooth edge and the edge markings applied post strike) which the genuine pieces were not.

For some reason the site is changing the spelling of the denomination, and the word "collar" to necklace.

I have a couple of these, the surfaces on the one pictured are too uniform, looked like a fake even without the weighing or the view of the edge.  Probably available for sale in numerous Florida souvenir stands.
