Everything is starting to look like a double die to me.  So, I need help fine tuning this skill.  Any advise will be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.  WKt

Hello WK007,

From what I'm seeing, I think your coin has machine doubling rather than a doubled die.  Notice the shelf like nature of the doubling on the coin....that is a telltale sign of machine doubling.

I saw in a nother thread the following article: https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/5688/Double-Dies-vs-Machine-Doubling/ . It seems to do a good job explaining the diffrence between mechanical doubling and actual double die.
