1946 war time silver nickel. Could it be?

In looking at your photos, I'm just seeing a regular old copper-nickel 1946 nickel.  I see nothing in the coloration or appearance of the coin which indicates that it would be of the silver alloy.  But Jonathan asks an important question......what makes you think that it's silver in the first place?
