Proof coins

You don't NEED to get coins, proof or otherwise graded by anyone. Should you get proofs graded?  Only if you are absolutely sure you can identify PF 70's on your own and just submit those. (And if you get it wrong you will lose money.)  And the only reason to do so is to maximize saleability.  Usually if you want PF 70's for your collection it makes more sense to just buy them already slabbed.  If you are happy with PF 69's it DEFINITELY makes more sense to buy the already slabbed.

Once Graded your value will numismatically increase because of preservation and grade but unless your a grader.  I would say the Pro's submit in cased direct from mint to Grader for holder and each coin in a Silver Proof Prior 95 is reasonably higher, and anything mid 50's on to 64 way good!  So it really depends on what your going for hows that?
