CC Seated Liberty Dollars 1870, 1871, 1872, 1873

I am trying to help an elderly Veteran value some coins.  Your advice is much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

From what I am seeing I very strongly suspect counterfeits.  The dentilation is weak on all four on the reverse at 8:00, the motto scroll is weak to nonexistant on the 1870, and from the mintmark placement they all appear to from the same reverse die which is not possible.  The 1870 CC dollars used six different reverse dies, the other three each use one reverse and each of those was a different 1870 CC rev die.  And all of them have the same rim nick above the U in UNITED.
