The condition of your coin will be the determining factor in whether or not it is worth the trouble and expense of having it appraised. Its value could be 5 cents or 500 dollars, depending on its condition. If you could post some clear, close-up pictures of both sides of the coin in this thread, we might be able to help you get an idea of what the grade of  your coin might be, and its worth.
