What's up with the verification database?

Are you guys aware that the certification database is down? I didn't see any alerts or postings notifying users of maintenance. I first experienced that it was down on Thursday night. I've been trying to add several new world coins to my registry sets and keep getting the "invalid certification" message. Also get "Certification database is currently unavailable. Please try again later" when I try to verify any NGC coin.
