1973 5 Francs

I have come across a 1973 5 Francs that is silver in color. The only thing I can find states that for this year, the coins composition is gold and there was only 2000 of them minted.  What do I have here?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and Welcome!

Well, we're going to need some pics to even begin to tell you anything about what you may have.  With coins, written descriptions just do not work.  There are too many possible variables which need to be verified by sight.  If you post some pics up, we may be able to help you out.  It's a good group, with a lot of knowledge.
