Here is the back of the coin

1983 Edward VII Britt Coin.  Im thinking its a British Pound, but could be wrong - 

Just cannot find anything on it. Is it that rare?

Your coin is dated 1893. Unfortunately, Edward VII did not assume the throne until 1901.What you have appears to be a poorly executed copy of a British Sovereign or Crown.
