Can gold 21st century fractionals be submitted under the modern tier, or must it be gold tier?

Thank you for your question. If you are referring to the 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, etc Gold Eagles they would qualify for the modern tier as they are dated 1955-present with a maximum value of $2,000 per coin. Please see the description for the modern and gold tiers below.
