Error? Help please!!!

I believe this penny might be an error of some sort, possibly a broad strike, capped, or wrong planchet?  I don't really know what guidelines apply to which errors... any help would be appreciated.

These are partly the reason I thought it might be an error... but my main reason is because it just doesn’t look like something done by any tool in a shop... I work with metal and tools everyday... maybe my pictures don’t do it justice or maybe it is just my wishful thinking...

Something circular, piece of pipe, ring circled the cent and was pressed in by a hydraulic press or other method that distorted the coin....not something seen coming out of a US Mint facility.
