Why do some of my coins show no value on the Registry?

Good Day, and thank you for your inquiry.

NGC Collection Manager and the NGC Registry only display prices for graded, certified coins that are listed in the on-line price guides seen on our www.ngccoin.com web site. If there is not a price displayed in our price guides, then it will not display a price for a graded coin in the Collection Manager or in a Registry Set.

Please click below to view the Numismedia World Price Guide:

If you have questions or comments about prices for US Coins, please direct your inquiries to James Bisognani here at NGC.  You may email James at jbisognani@ngccoin.com .

NGC does not assign prices to World coins.  A company called Numismedia provides prices for our website.  Please direct any pricing questions or comments to Numismedia, at  1-949-362-3786, or you may email them at info@numismedia.com.

If you need further assistance with the NGC Registry or NGC Collection Manager, please let us know. Thank you for your interest in NGC.

They are Large Cents that are listed, however, it is the ones that have a variety or die number on the holder. They used to put an asterisk, denoting value of "parent coin", or something similar.

Hello, Treeman.

Can you please email this information with your certification number to registry@ngccoin.com? We will have someone look into this for you. Thank you.

I sent an email with copies of my set, and set cert numbers. I think it is not recognizing anything with a Newcomb number, or sm/lg date.

Hello, Treeman.

There was a change to the online price guide programming. In your NGC Collection Manager or Registry set, coins with varieties no longer display "parent" prices. We have asked our US price guide specialist to see if he could add those varieties you mentioned in your email to our price guide.

If you have further questions about our on-line US pricing, you may reach Jim at jbisognani@ngccoin.com. Thank you.
