1967 mint mark S penny??

I have a 1967 s penny I thought san-fran didn't use mintmarks that year it is also in the  wrong location it's above the date but centered as it should be if it we're below the date any ideas or help

You either have an altered genuine coin or an outright counterfeit. The Mint System did not place mint marks on coins in 1967, and if there were some experimental pieces in the works, I can't see why they would have changed the locaiton of the mint mark.

Photos would help you find out what you might have.

The raised metal has been pushed upward through displacement by whatever damaged the coin.
