Under the "New" board, how do you follow a post?

I'm guessing this has been answered somewhere, but for those of us that have unsuccessfully looked for the answer, how do you mark a post on the "new" boards to follow it?  Thank you!

You actually want the green circle with the plus in it. See the attached image.

The post is hiding behind a shrubbery --- near the larch grove -- just by the lupine pickers....is that intuitive?

Well, now, that goes to show how much I'm not following any posts.  Once you see the green plus sign it's a 'doh' moment...it's just hard to see things sometimes.
