Well, the title tells you everything you need to know on how I acquired it, but I have no clue on what it is other than a peruvian half reale. I cant find any info on it when I research it, the internet pretty much looks at it and says, "yep, thats old, alright." I have no clue if I overpaid or not, although I'm almost positive I did considering it was $225.

Coin Code: 339463-011 / km-22 environmental damage

The other coin I procured is a 1783 spanish colonian 8 reale, a piece of 8 from the Wreck of The El Cazador, but much like the other reale, I cannot find any info on pricing.

Coin Code: 3910599-042 /shipwreck - other

Yet ANOTHER question I have (Sorry I know Im asking alot) is, did the 1808 Admiral Gardner crash ever yield silver coinage? I have two silver pieces that I am not positive of the authenticity, as they seem to be brandy new with just some toning or other coloring on them. I do, however remember that the coins were being hauled in barrels full of wax, so maybe they were just well preserved until they were found. These do not have a code (I'm too busy building my collection to be able to afford getting the two coins graded)

ANY help is appreciated as Im pretty much completely lost! Thanks guys and gals!

Well pictures would help a lot more than code numbers that don't seem to relate to anything.

I think those are the NGC slab #s, but without knowing the grade I can't look it up.  The look-up function has been modified to require both the # and the grade.

at the risk of being accused of "beating the drum for someone", find pricing info for those in Heritage's APR. There isn't too too much they haven't sold. You may also want to search in Sedwick's APR for Spanish Colonial coinage

I gave a pile of Old Dealer Stock foreign coins, in 2x2s, to a friend wanting to start eBaying. She had no idea about anything numismatic, and felt lost. I told her to go on eBay, do a search in Coins of what was written on the 2x2, and see what pops up...
