I am not sure which forum to put this post so I apologize if this thread should not be here.  Does the color detract from value?  Does the coin have any value that makes it "special?"  I find the color more intriguing to the eye than the standard shiny coin.  Thanks for your help

The coin has a D (Denver) mint-mark on the reverse, under the wreath. It's been circulated and is worth approximately $20-$25. In this case, the color does not have any effect on the coin's value.

It has acquired a 'natural patina' after circulation. It's a nice example of a circulated Morgan, no distracting rim dings or scratches but has little numistic value because there were literally thousands of this year horded away in various degrees of preservation.
