Submitted 3 vintage Chinese coins to NGC for grading, was sent back unencapsulated because

stated as Forgery.

Not convinced of the results,as these coins are from reliable sources and were seen and verified

to be authentic by experts before sending to NGC.

So,sent to PCGS for grading, encapsulated and genuine.

Can NGC comment on this?

Interesting.   So do you think NGC goofed up in your case?

I've heared some fake Japanese coins ( supposedly made by Chinese) are already in the genuine NGC/ PCGS holders. Some fake coins made with recent technique easily fool delares who are supposed to be expertised in Japanese coins.   I guess it's very difficult to determine the authenticity of world coins for graders these days.

Can you show us pictures of your coins? There may be someone here who can offer an opinion.

I wouldn't necessarily trust PCGS' foreign coin grading.... they aren't great.
