Joydeep
Very recently I bought the NGC Graded coin shown below :- However, I am a little confused. How tightly is a coin secured in a NGC slab ? I mean, can it move slightly. Is my concern valid ? Or am I worrying too much ?
physics-fan3.14
Yes, coins move in their slabs. Happens all the time. I've even seen coins fall completely out of the prongs (although that is less common). No reason to worry about that, although some people are bothered by it not being aligned properly. MarkFeld
Yes, you're worrying too much. And sorry, but those pictures are not nearly good enough to lend themselves to meaningful grade guesses.
Joydeep
Thank you for the quick response you guys. Actually I have not received my purchase yet, those are the seller's images.
numisport
Doesn't look like the coin has moved to me. Most coins in prong type holders fight snug and some are tight enough that the white prongs look stressed in the holder. Also the NGC holder is known to be as airtight as any in the business. Coin appears to be of a high mint state grade but hard to tell from those images.
