Before and after conservation of 1928 Peace $1

The before images were ugly, ICG still graded the coin MS63: http://i.imgur.com/CvvbPfn.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ZJ0XALk.jpg I soaked the coin in acetone overnight, used jewel luster style dip diluted sparingly. It helped a little then send it back to ICG which conserved it without charge.

I agree that NGC and PCGS (and even CAC) certification helps to sell coins a lot more than ICG or Anacs. I just like ICG's fast no nonsense style and the fact that you can actually speak with a grader there which the others would never do.
