camera settings for coin imaging

I have a canon rebel and can not ever get what I consider good enough pictures of my coins that capture what i can see in my hands...

 

does anyone know what settings to use that seem to do well?

It's really all about the lens you are using. As said above, macro is important. Lighting is also really important to understand. What lens are you using?

Check and find out the right Macro lens for your camera. Go to Best Buy and have them get it off e-bay / amazon---- They will do this for any item wanted that is not in stock.

Credit available there --- no money down and no interest for a year. That is how I got mine. :grin:
