Jekyll & Hyde Coin, what is this on the reverse?

3 posts in this topic

I was wondering if anyone could guess what's going on with this reverse, and what was the the most likely culprit. I found this coin in a $1 bucket at a local pawn shop. I took it bc I thought the contrast in quality on both sides was pretty interesting. Plus, both sides were surprisingly reflective.
