QUESTION: 

 

Name an overdate US coin for which a coin bearing the original date impressed on the die was never issued.

Question:

 

Name an over date US coin for which a coin bearing the original date impressed on the die was never issued.

 

Answer: 1805/4 Half Dollar We'll also accept 1809/6 Classic Head Half Cent and 1844/81 and 1851/81 Braided Hair Large Cent, although these are technically inverted dates or digits and not true overdates. 1854/3 Arrows quarters because the 1853 Quarter only comes with Arrows and Rays.
