Usually they are disappointing.

 

I purchased a 1959 Proof set for $22.00. I did not really have high expectations. Usually they are stained and poor strikes and a few dings.

 

This time...wow...I was very impressed and excited.

 

I didn't waste anytime to submit all five with some others I have been holding on until I had enough to make it worth it.

 

 

 

Here is my prediction:

 

Penny PF68 (maybe Cameo)

 

Nickel PF68 (possible PF69)

 

Dime PF68 (outside chance for Cameo)

 

Quarter PF68 Cameo

 

Half PF67+ (there is a small mark on the cheek)

 

 

 

I'll keep you posted in about a week and a half, fingers crossed!
