The image is from John Baumgart / " MessyDesk".

If I have this coin imaged by Todd, I will post it.

The Half started out in an NGC 65 - lowered to a MS 64

by PCGS, and I believe I may have that image by Todd.

When Secure Plus came about, I resubmitted the coin &

it's now in a 64+ PC holder. The coin was CAC'd just prior

to my sale of my Barbers in 2011; some one scratched the

new holder while the coin was in Heritage's possession.

As the coin did not hit the reserve ( I just wanted my expenses

out of it ) ... I have since decided to keep this coin as an example

of what my better set looked like.

It's still my favorite Half Dollar.

Mike thanks for the quick reply. I love Mr Messy's work, I think he's top notch and you can't get much better or maybe not any better than his work. I just thought it looked like Todd's setup but it's a great coin with a super photo. No disrespect to Phil's work but it seems to be a bit too Hot in the center if you know what I mean.

One coin per post. No skipping years. Let's try to get to 2013 by New Years!

Let's make it fun! :)

I never realized what a lofty challenge this was. Here it is June and still along way to go.

Maybe the OP should modify the post to say New Years 2015. hm
