Why is my Certified Registry name "No Public Name##"?

When the Certified Registry was first opened, people were allowed to sign up without choosing a public name. This created sets that essentailly had no owner displayed.

To remedy this, we filled in all of the blank public names with, "No Public Name" and then a number, and making it a required field on sign-up. We didn't feel it was appropriate to choose a name for them that used any kind of real name or email address information without their permission. So instead, we just picked a generic entry.

Can I change my "No Public Name"?

Yes! Please do! The "No Public Names" were never meant to be permanent.

Login to the Collectors' Society and go to the "My Profile" link in the menu along the top. Change the "Public Name" entry and submit. Review the changes you have made and submit again.
