XF? 1921 Peace buck

Not enough for AU but better than VF IMO. Is the surface acceptable, looks very similar to my slabbed AU pieces? Not worth the effort to slab but the price was right. Looks the same in hand. Your thoughts......

Sorry, but looks like a VF-30 to me. There is lots of wear, especially on the reverse where strike is not as much of an issue.

I see what Bill is talking about, I would still lean more 35 - 40. No matter, I still like the look of it.

I agree that XF40 is a bit of a stretch here. I could go VF35 if being generous. 30 does sound more like it though.
