the 1948 Obverse Die Trial for the Franklin Half Dollar. Two set of the initials JRS. In this trial piece the letters appeared in both the familiar position with the letters nearly upright and also further to the right in italic form down Here is an attached picture of the coin

1948 Obverse Die Trail for the Franklin Half Dollar. There appears two set of JRS initials at the truncation of the bust. In this trial piece one set appeared in the familiar position with the letters nearly upright and also further to the right in italic form. I have attached some pictures of the coin
