1806 Half Cent

I am guessing this is about VF30, what do you all say? Also what kind of price would you say is fair?

The sharpness grade is very close to EF-40, and probably makes the grade from the commercial sense. The net grade is VF-30 due to an old cleaning. The color is not AT IMO, but the result of re-toning over time.

 

I don't think that this piece would get a slab grade if it were to be submitted for one. If you are thinking EAC grades, think about something brutal like a net grade of VF-20.

 

The variety is 1806, Cohen 1, Small 6, No Stems. That is a very common variety that carries no price premium.
