QUESTION:

 

Using the four cardinal points, what were the northernmost, southernmost,

westernmost, and easternmost mints that are reliably recognized as having issued Roman Imperial coins during the period 27 B.C. – A.D. 476? (Note: unofficial mints, mints of separatist empires, or mints that exclusively issued provincial coinage are not eligible.)

Northern most - Camulodunum (Present day England)

 

Western most - Clausentum (Present day England) close 2nd place- Barcino (Present day Spain)

 

Southern most - Alexandria (Present day Egypt)

 

Eastern most - Antiochia (Present day Syria)

This is a guess because the question spans from the entire existence of the empire but I think using the cardinal directions the answer is as follows;

 

The Easternmost mint was Antioch in present day Syria.

The Northernmost mint was Lugdunum located in present day France.

The Southernmost mint was Alexandria located in present day Egypt.

The Westernmost mint was Rome located in of course present day Italy.

Answer:

North = London

South = Alexandria

West = Emerita Augusta

East = Emesa
