A cool idea, tell me what you think

I think it would be really cool if we could comment on individual coins, or even whole sets, on the Registry. So, for example, if I saw this coin: http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/registry/coins/CoinDetail.aspx?PeopleCoinID=657242&PeopleSetID=111482 in T$'s set, I would be able to add a comment telling him how awesome the reverse toning is.

Not sure how much work would be involved in adding something like that, but I think it would be a really cool addition. It would bring the Registry into the world of Web 2.0

Great Idea.....it will also make it a good idea for the owner to approve the comment before it is posted!!

I think the idea is good overall; however, you do have the issue of the nature of some posts. Surely there will be someone that would post something inappropriate, so there would be a need to moderate the comments. I think a lot of this could be circumvented by using Jamie's approach, i.e., allowing the set owner to approve or reject comments before anything is posted in the public domain.
