I asked about a Carlos and Joanna hoard at Long Beach yesterday. Nothing recent has turned up. However about 10 years ago about 2000 coins surfaced, they were probably buried. Mostly 4Rs. The recent activity is most likely due to recipients of the coins sending them in to TPGSs for grading (me included).
