1936 Long Island Commemorative - Guess The Grade!

Here's a nice 1936 Long Island Commemorative that I recently picked up in an ancient NGC-2 holder, these were famous for causing toning at the top of a coin.

Guess The Grade!

Believe it or not the old "no line fattie" NGC holder doesn't have a scratch or scuff on it.

It's no MS-66 IMO, but it could be a very choice MS-64 or a low end MS-65. The reed mark in back of the eye would cause me to hesitate to grade this as an MS-65.

Looks like a bagmark to me...not "supposed" to detract from grade...but 65 wouldn't surprise me. I would be somewhat surprised at 64 because as someone else mentioned, larger images really blow those marks up.

it has better eye-appeal than my 65 but the contact marks happen to be in the primary areas on the obverse..cheek, eyebrow, nose..the reverse looks PQ65
