QUESTION:

In calendar year 1966 the Denver Mint coined eleven different USA coins, most without mintmarks. What is the combined face value of one each of these coins?

Our first place winner will receive a copy of The Official RED BOOK A Guide Book of Morgan Silver Dollars, 3rd Edition

There will also be a runner up prize given to a randomly selected player with the correct answer.

REMINDER: The Numisma-Quest ends on Saturday at midnight EST. Entries after that time will not be valid. See the Trivia info post for more details.

When you post your answer, only the administrators can see it. Stop back this Tuesday. We will make all the posts visible and announce the winners.

91-cents of business strikes (5 coins)

91-cents of Special Mint Set struck coins (5 coins)

And the 1964-D dated silver dimes.

That adds up to $1.92!

And the Answer is.......

We have no winner this week. (shrug) Someone did have the amount correct but not the distribution of coins…

$1.92 (the coins are the 1964-D dime, as well as cents, nickels, dimes, quarters and halves dated 1965 and 1966)

Please stop by this Friday for the PMG Numisma-Quest question

Going by the question, Scott B seems to have the correct answer. You didn't ask for the "distribution of coins" in your original post ;)
