33-50% of currency in circulation was estimated to be counterfeit, which would put a dollar value of ~$66,000,000-100,000,000 of counterfeit currency in circulation. That would be between 33-50% of genuine circulating currency had a counterfeit counterpart.

Based on a NYT article, 12/13ths of notes had been counterfeited, no clue on ethe second part!
