1964 blazing quarter - extraordinary or just - meh?

If there is no wear on the high points it can be called Uncirculated, which I can't tell from these pics. I think the story behind the find is worth more than the coin on this one. 1964 quarters are common, and not worth much except in the very highest grades. I'd call yours 63, if it is actually Unc.

i would agree wirh physics

it is a later die state hence great luster and it looks like an undipped roll fresh coin as it was in an original roll for many years and has a certain skin and look to it; then removed and either put into a collection; or not! and then for whatever reason spent in the machine

but again from the photos it certainly looks like a nice unc. coin to my minds eye

as physics says ms 63

great find and photo by the way!!

MS63, but I am far too old and jaded to get excited over a 1964 quarter.

Now 1864, that would be cause for excitement!
