1907 Nidwalden (Stans) Swiss Shooting (Schutzenfest) Medal - Guess The Grade!

5 posts in this topic

This is a 1907 Swiss Shooting (Schutzenfest) Medal from Nidwalden (Stans), Richter catalog # 1032a.

This small (23mm) silver medal was designed by Holy Freres, and features a young archer loading his crossbow.

This medal is in fantastic condition except for a small bag mark directly below the archers foot.

okie well they had it in hand sight seen

so from the great photos lets call this

au-64

might have ever so slight invisible friction and in hand with a good light but the fields and other aspects of the medal scream choice unc.

and you might have a really choice unc. medal with ever so slight slight friction on the high points

so au-64

Michael, I'm just happy to have an example this nice.

Finding these medals can be extremely difficult. Like finding an honest politician...
