NGC Holders

I was reading a thread on the PCGS Board that stated that the New NGC Holders were 100% Air Tight. I had not heard of this, and was wondering if this is true. If they are 100% Air Tight will NGC now guarantee copper in the new holders?

Sorry I didn't get to this question sooner. It got buried beneath all the other threads.

 

The new NGC holder was developed and laboratory tested for two years and is comprised of state of the art material. The holder is hermetically sealed to greatly assist in the long term preservation of your coins.

 

The NGC guarantee does not apply to the grading of copper coins. Oxidation can continue to occur after sealing and copper coins are particularly susceptible to this problem.
