You could get a better coin (on Ebay) in a NGC slab for less then it would cost to send that coin in.

EF-40, in my opinion. Striking characteristic of the 1924-S is unique amongst Peace dollars, with the coins struck from below-average planchets from dies that were never up to par.

 

Unquestionably not worth certifying, however.

Have to agree with james. The 1924s was never much of a strike . But I though it was more like a VF35 as well .
