1836 lettered edge Bustie

Yup, y'all hit it perfectly. PCGS EF-40, and a nice one at that. I've looked at many of these 1836 halves, and this is the first one I've seen that was attractive, original, and had that look I was going for. Most of the halves of this date seem dipped, ugly, spotty, weakly struck, ugly, or otherwise unattractive. I am very pleased to add this R4 to my collection.

Nice one. Have not ventured into this area in a while...

 

That coin is a prime example of what both services have been grading as an 40's from what I have been seeing.
