3 Cent Nickel lack of interest?

I have watched these coin with interest for the past few weeks sale, auctions, etc and there seems to be very little interest in them.Am I missing something?Snake

This series has never been in the spotlight. While there are a few collectors of three-cent nickels by dates and varieties, most collectors are content with just one or two type examples.

 

If you have a particular interest in this series, you may want to check out the book "The Authoritative Reference on Three Cent Nickels," by Kevin Flynn and Edward Fletcher. It has limited historical and technical information, but with an extensive catalog of varieties.
