Lakeland, Florida Collectorama Show - Oct. 19-21

The 43rd Semi-Annual Lakeland, Florida Collectorama Show, will be held

October 19-21, 2007 at The Lakeland Center (Exhibit Hall), located at

701 West Lime Street, just west of downtown Lakeland, Florida.

Collectorama will feature a wide range of Coins and Currency, Bullion

Gold, Silver, and Platinum Coins, Silver Dollars, Modern and older

Commemorative Coins, Obsolete and Confederate Currency, Large, small

and fractional United States Currency, World Coins and Banknotes,

Ancient and Medievil Coins, Proof and Mint Sets, Gold and Silver

Eagles, State Quarters and Presidential Dollars, Type Coins, Collector

Coins, and a wide assortment of numismatic material. Collectorama

also has additional room for dealers with all types of Neat

Collectibles, Paper Americana, Historical Documents, Postcards,

Antiques, Autographs, etc.

 

A rare coin auction will be held on Friday evening, at 6 P.M.

performed by Central Florida Auctions, Inc. (Auctioneer License AU

3709 / Auction License 2664). Please contact Fred Oliver at

813-416-6131 for all information concerning the auction, consigment

fees, etc.

 

Thursdays at Collectorama are dealer set-up, and dealer's only Special

Bourse from 4 to 8 P.M. Dealers without tables gain entry with a

$25.00 (minimum) company check made out to Florida Youth Villa. A

company business card, and sales tax number are required for entry.

 

There will be hourly door prizes, and all youngsters, 12 or under,

will get a daily dip into the Kid's Bucket for a Free Hand Full of

Money. The show buys, and our great dealers and guests also help keep

the Kid's Bucket filled up all weekend with a variety of numismatic

goodies.

 

The United States Postal Service will be on hand offering postage

stamps, and other material that they sell, and will hand-cancel a

special Collectorama Souvenir Card for the cost of a $.41 stamp. This

special Souvenir Card will be available at Registration for only

$4.00.

 

There is a $3.00 admission fee (good for the weekend), but guests

bringing this announcement will get Free Admission. The Collectorama

Show also "buys" the parking lot so that dealers and guests will not

be charged the usual $5.00 Parking Fee.

 

The host hotel for the Collectorama Show, will be the Jameson Inn, at

4375 Lakeland Park Drive, just off of Interstate I-4, at exit 33,

offering $69.95 rooms. There are several restaurants nearby. Call

Show room rate.
